From old stock, this material is becoming rare. Sometimes known as "poor man's alexandrite". This particular piece has some fine tube inclusions along one side, but they hide fairly well.

Nice stone with good brilliance. The green tone is more yellowish here in this one, with orange ends. Rare material.

Nice squarish stone with attractive play of the two colors. The stone is dichroic light greenish-yellow one direction, pinkish-orange the other. Both colors show in the finished gem. Material is getting hard to get.
