Gold mountings are available for order by anyone. We do not resell silver mountings unless it is for our gemstone or the order is over $150. We will set our gemstones free if you purchase the gemstone and mounting from us. If you are not familiar with setting gemstones or working with gold, you may need the help of your jeweler in setting your gemstone.
Unless stated differently in the description, these gold mountings are 14 kt. Most are available in yellow or white gold. They come pre-notched for holding faceted or cab gemstones. Your gemstone must be the size of the mounting. It cannot be much larger or much smaller. Custom cut gemstones will fit if they are are cut to the standard size but they may not fit if your gemstone is "freestyle".
We do not create these mountings ourselves. They are custom ordered from our supplier. Therefore. mountings are generally not returnable. Please allow extra shipment time. There might be a $5.00 handling fee for orders under $50.
